My mom is a preschool teacher and librarian at the local elementary school. There are many perks to these jobs (she always had the same vacations as my sister and I) but one of the best is that at the end of every school year she gets to pick through the discard pile at the library and bring home great books. One of the treasures she brought home this year was a falling-apart copy of Olivia, one of my favorite children's books. The binding has come apart and the pages are falling apart. I can't wait to use the pages to make some sort of craft project.

Peace, Love & Art
My sister is an amazingly talented artist. She is currently working on a giant, 5-foot watercolor in our hallway. I love walking past it every day and seeing it evolve and change. I can't wait to see the finished product.
