Peace, Love & More About Road Trips

So that road trip I've been lusting after; there is a destination in mind. I want to leave late at night on New Year's Eve and drive to the ocean. And once I get there, I want to watch the first sunrise of the year while standing on the beach. And then eat breakfast at a cute little diner as the sky brightens.

Peace, Love & Words of Wisdom

Peace, Love & Road Trips

I want to take a road trip, just get away from everything, even if its just for a day.

Peace, Love & Christmas Eve Again

Today my mom, sister, and I are baking Christmas cookies, watching Christmas movies, eating candy canes, and making a fire in the fireplace. Who cares if Christmas was two days ago? We never got around to doing these things on Christmas Eve like we usually do, so we're pretending today is Christmas Eve. We are going to sit around in our PJs all day listening to Christmas music and doing Christmas-y things. It shall be a blast.

Peace, Love & Christmas Eve

The lights are up, our tree is decorated, the stockings are hung, my shopping is finished, the presents are wrapped, and now I'm relaxing with a nice warm mug of hot cocoa. Merry Christmas Eve.

Peace, Love & Indy

One of my good friends from school has to fly home, and can't bring her fish with her for winter break. So little Indy gets to come home with Auntie J for Christmas. We are going to have lots of wonderful adventures! I can't wait.

Peace, Love & All-Nighters

The past two days I have stayed up all night talking, laughing, watching movies and eating with friends. Its the best feeling, staying up late talking and laughing with good friends until it starts to get light again. And the early morning light is so absolutely beautiful that it might even be worth getting up really early every once in a while just to watch the sunrise.

Peace, Love & Squirrels

Today in the dining hall my friends and I spent the majority of lunch watching a crafty little squirrel scamper around the bookstore, and up onto a trash can. At first we were simply amazed by how adorable he looked running in circles on top of the trash can. Then, when he fell into the trash can, we began to worry about him. At this point, about 3 or 4 other tables were also watching the squirrels antics. A few people were ready to go outside and help the little guy out of the trash can when up he popped, carrying off two cookies. What a crafty little squirrel. We were all thoroughly impressed.

Peace, Love & Winter

Burlington is slowly but surely becoming a winter wonderland, and it is beautiful.
